NASShq Forum Policies
The
basic ground rules for discussions in the NASS forums are simple: be polite, use common
sense, don't break the law and don't post any message you wouldn't want your mother to see
you write. We don't intend to censor messages based on the opinions expressed within those
posts, but we will enforce the policies outlined both here and on the Forum. We reserve
the right to remove, modify or move posts at our discretion and without explanation. If
you have any questions, please ask the
moderator.
Company
ads for goods or services posted in any forum other than 'Goods and Services' without
specific authorization will be deleted and the user banned from further forum access for a
minimum period of 30 days.
We enforce a very strict policy regarding solicitation of
our membership by Forum participants except in those Forum sections where advertising
is expressly permitted.
- Commercial organizations may not use the
NASS Forums as a 'market place'. Participants may not use the Links section to place an
ad, and direct members to that link only. Posts for 'Goods and services, should be in the
proper Forum only.
- Participants may not use the Forum to
direct others to any pages at their own commercial website, including informational pages.
- Any 'harvesting' of email addresses for
business contacts or bulk mailings, will be considered a theft of property and prosecution
will be pursued for the privacy violation as an invasion of privacy.
- Participants may use discussions to
recommend or praise other product or services, or any company, as long as it's not a
direct advertisement of your own commercial resources.
- Participants may not solicit the
membership for feedback or suggestions on their product or services. Asking for 'comments'
on someone else's services or products is fine.
- Signatures must be setup in your profile
and not manually added to your messages. Participants may not use a "signature"
with plan descriptions or any pricing information at the end of Forum messages. Signatures
must be kept to a maximum of three lines and contain no more than one website address.
- Participants may not use the Forum to
solicit users for any project or purpose external to the Forum; public, private, or
commercial, unless directly beneficial to N.A.S.S. Most importantly our userbase is not a
resource to be "mined" by individuals, groups, or businesses, for profit or not
for profit.

We take
the "be polite" rule VERY seriously! We do not tolerate ANY rudeness. Any member
who is intentionally unpleasant or disruptive will receive one warning, after which, will
be banned from the forum for a minimum of 30 days upon a second offense.
In
light of our policy of encouraging candid, open exchanges of views and the rapid
distribution of information originating from many sources, the NASS Forums cannot
determine the accuracy of information that may be uploaded to the Forum. It's up to you to
validate the information you gain here.

advice and all other information expressed by participants in discussions are those of the
